Voltage-driven simulations


Manatee e-NVH software provides simulation workflows adapted to each design stage. Current-driven simulations can be refined using voltage-driven simulations. Manatee V2.2 enables to run voltage-driven electromagnetic simulation of Squirrel Cage Induction Machine under load. The user must provide the Equivalent Electric Circuit (EEC) parameters and the magnetization inductance at a given temperature.


On load simulation are important to fully study the e-NVH of a squirrel cage induction machine including saturation and slip effects. Electrical engineers can directly input their EEC parameters and control law (e.g. slip & voltage function of speed) to run electromagnetic simulations either using quick models (e.g. permeance/mmf models) or detailed models (Finite Element Analysis).
